 Read 556 Times(s) | This last weekend ended up being a bit random to say the least and it all started off in little old Swindon on the Friday night where me, Matt and Damien were all out drinking (cept I wasn't as much being the driver!) and it got to about 12 and we left the pub and Damien asked 'So where to now guys?' and I said as a joke lets go to Funky Monkeys in Barnstaple to which they both agreed we should. I thought they were joking so said OK I'll take you right now if you both give me £15 each they agreed and we went to a cash machine (I still thought they were messing about!).
They both then handed me the cash and we headed over to Damiens to pick up some supplies (a tent and ONE sleepingbag!), then filled up on petrol and started to drive towards Barnstaple - with Damien and Matt hanging out the window shouting 'Go to Barnstaple mate - theres a massive party there' to every Lorry, Car and old woman who happened to be within a half a mile radius of them. Matt was also sat in the back telling me 'I dont know why Ed, but Barnstaple is a place I just gotta be right now!'. We must of stopped 5 or 6 times on the way for toilet brakes (due to the amount they had drunk!). Damien decided at one of the first service stations it would be a good idea to put one of the hand dryers up his top (see the pics) and Matt at another stole a bit of paper they keep the hot food on in a garage and made himself a paper hat (also see pics). Eventually we ended up in Barnstaple at 3am and everywhere was closed so we headed to Tescos bought 24 fosters and went wandering round the town with now Matt and Damien telling everyone we just arrived from Swindon and the whole story so far! Next morning, having sobered up a little, they didn't really realise how they had come to be in a tent in my mums garden in Barnstaple but accepted it never the less and we just chilled out during the day by visiting some good old sea side towns and chilling on the beach (with yet more drink - you thought they would of learnt by now!). Evening comes and we all head into town in a big group after about a few hours of being out I managed to loose both Damien and Matt and I found out later they had decided to follow some girls into another club and lost them! The night ended up with me being thrown out of a club for calling the bouncer a tosser (well he was being one!). Next day we sobered up some more then decided to head on home as we all had only managed to get about 4 hours sleep each the whole weekend!
